About KIC - Introduction

Kroto Innovation Centre is embedded at the heart of one of Europe’s leading multidisciplinary research facilities.

KIC provides an ideal environment to grow new or existing technology based businesses. This prestigious location provides the base  to engage with the knowledge and asset base of one of the world’s top Universities with a wealth of research and facilities focused on emerging and nanoscale technologies.

North Campus is home to over 20 world class research groups, a centre of gravity for engagement between business and academic research, including centres such as the Sorby Nano Investigation Centre. KIC offers the full range of facilities to develop high-tech businesses, including dedicated offices and laboratories, meeting rooms, café and a new 150 seat conference centre.
